Kaitlyn Seminerio, MSW


Kaitlyn holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Norfolk State University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and Sociology from William Paterson University in New Jersey. Kaitlyn is currently under supervision to receive her Certified Substance Abuse Counselor certification with the state of Virginia. She has experience counseling those with depression, anxiety, and substance use. Kaitlyn enjoys working with clients ten years of age and older. She implements a strengths-based approach when working with clients and primarily uses Motivational Interviewing and person-centered and cognitive behavioral theoretical orientations. Outside of counseling, Kaitlyn appreciates the benefits of exercise, nutrition, and taking a holistic approach to mind and body.
